This distinguished two-year venture-building program recognises and empowers Africa’s emerging young business leaders who are generating employment, earning revenue, and transforming their local communities.

With more than 15 years of experience, Anzisha has supported emerging young founders through coaching, financial assistance, resources, and access to an influential pan-African entrepreneurial network. If you’ve launched a business or social enterprise and are prepared to expand, this program offers the support you need.

Program Overview

Throughout the two-year period, participants benefit from comprehensive business guidance, expert mentorship, and progress monitoring. High-performing entrepreneurs demonstrating exceptional growth by the fellowship’s conclusion will be eligible to compete for significant grand prizes totalling USD $40,000, distributed across four distinct categories:

  • Prize for Job Creation
  • Prize for Revenue Growth
  • Prize for Storytelling
  • Prize for Systems & Processes

Upon completion, participants become members of the Anzisha Alumni Network — a lifelong community connecting innovators and leaders throughout the African continent.

Application Requirements

Candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Age range: 15 to 22 years (Date of birth: September 1, 2003 – August 31, 2010).
  • Possess a valid identification document or passport from an African nation.
  • Be an African national operating a business within Africa.
  • Currently manage an operational venture; concepts at the idea stage are ineligible.
  • Hold a founding or co-founding status in the enterprise.
  • Work in any industry: technology, agriculture, creative arts, manufacturing, service provision, social initiatives, etc.
  • Commit a minimum of 20 hours weekly to the enterprise.
