Former world heavyweight champion, Anthony Joshua, recently embarked on a tour of Lagos, and has been spotted in several locations including the National Stadium in Surulere and Makoko.
The British boxer visited the Slum2School initiative located in Makoko, where he spent quality time with the students and residents of the community.
Joshua took time to interact with the residents, while also observing the brilliant efforts of the initiative in impacting the live of the average Nigerian living in the slums of Lagos.

Joshua recently lost all his heavyweight belts to Mexico’s Andy Ruiz Jr. in a shocking bout that threw fans into turmoil, as we all had hoped the champ would retain his title with a windfall win over the full-figured challenger.
The Mexican-American fighter claimed all Joshua’s four belts, and has now become Mexico’s first ever unified world heavyweight champion.
Joshua is expected to face Ruiz before the end of the year and try to reclaim his belts, however, details of the fight are yet to be finalized.
