As I watched the promo video for the Connect Nigeria Business Fair 2019 edition, the testimony from one of the participants caught my attention as he captures, not only the spirit of Connect Nigeria but also my experience in the firm from Day 1: acceptance
The brand was registered in 2008, by the Founder and Managing Director, Emeka Okafor. According to Samson Ileh, who has worked in the firm from inception as the Financial and Operational Manager, Connect Nigeria is an online business portal where businesses and individuals can find useful information for business and personal use.
Connect Nigeria has a mission of organizing all Nigeria’s information, making it easily available to readers.
In my own language, [Connect Nigeria] is the Nigerian version of Google, where businesses and individuals can find necessary and go-to articles.

Top 100 SMEs
In 2018, Connect Nigeria launched a campaign, the Top 100 SMEs Campaign. The successful SMEs Campaign, organised in conjunction with Union Bank, was aimed at recognizing and rewarding 100 Small and Medium Scale Enterprises on different levels and in business categories.
Connect Nigeria Business Fair
In addition, as campaigns for the seventh edition of the 2019 Business Fair are ongoing, Ile explains that the fair began in October 2011 with over 500 in attendance. Over the years, it has grown to 2000 and the 2019 edition is expected to host 15,000 attendees.
The Business Fair targets Africa’s Businesses and SMEs and is a one-stop center for big and small business. More so, the Business Fair, which is usually a 1-day affair, is for the first time scheduled to last for two day, 26-27 April, 2019, and at a new and spacious location, Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos.
