The African Management Services Company (AMSCO), initially founded through a partnership between UNDP and the African Development Bank, has empowered thousands of professionals and businesses throughout Africa.
Interns in this program benefit from structured training programs, practical workplace experience and mentorship in fields including impact operations, HR, finance, project management and business development.
AMSCO placements differ from conventional internships by enabling participants to contribute to projects that support impact-driven organisations and SMEs.
This hands-on involvement allows interns to develop entrepreneurial capabilities and enhance their employability while gaining insight into Africa’s authentic business environments.

Who Can Apply
- African youth with a graduate degree.
- Holders of tertiary qualifications (Bachelor’s degree minimum).
- Individuals passionate about consulting, impact work, enterprise development, finance, HR or similar sectors.
- Candidates are able to commit to full-time participation.
- Applicants prepared for hybrid or on-site work arrangements, depending on host organisation requirements.
