Efe Ambrose, Super Eagles defender, has signed a contract extension of four years with Glaswegian giants, Celtic.
The new contract means Ambrose is bound to the club until 2017. The Nigerian International joined the Scottish team from Israeli side, FC Ashdod for an undisclosed fee in 2012 and went ahead to win the League and Cup double in his first season with the club.
He was part of the Celtic side that beat Barcelona in the Champions League but made horrendous errors in the quarter-finals against Juventus that saw them get eliminated from the competition.
Ambrose was also part of the Nigeria Super Eagles squad that won the Nations Cup earlier in the year.
