This installation follows the retirement of the outgoing HoS, Mrs. Olabowale Ademola as stated in the constitution, which would be on November 10, 2017, and Mrs. Adesoye’s appointment would immediately take effect on the 11th November 2017.
She was first appointed to Lagos State Civil Service on December 28, 1983, and has since served in different positions within ministries. She is known to readily wear a smile on her face and always eager to help people. She was also friendly with contractors but not one to collect kickbacks.
According to Punch Newspaper, she had in 2016, served in the same capacity as a Permanent Secretary in Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, and had until her appointment served as the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources.
We are pleased with her appointment and wish her predecessor success in her future endeavor, congratulating her for her praiseworthy service.
