Alaro City is a development by Rendeavour, in partnership with Lagos State Government. Alaro City is a mixed use, mixed income city which offers you all you need in one place. A place to live, work, shop, investment opportunities, a place for entertainment, relaxation and much more – in a master-planned natural environment coupled with the highest standards of infrastructure.
Rendeavour is Africa’s largest new city developer, building seven cities on 12,000 hectares of land in Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Zambia and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Backed by American, British, Norwegian and New Zealand investors, Rendeavour invests on average $250 million in each project, creating the – roads, power, water, ICT and waste management – for businesses, homes, schools, healthcare and parks.
Conceived on 2,000 hectares, Alaro City is in the North West Quadrant of the Lekki Free Zone, ideally situated on the Lekki-Epe Expressway for ease of transportation to Lagos or to the rest of Nigeria. The largest Deep-Sea Port in West Africa is currently under construction and located to the south of the city. An international airport is at planning stage and will be located adjacent to the city.
Over 20 companies are moving or expanding their businesses to Alaro City. These companies include Ariel Foods, Starium (BUA Group), HMD Africa, Sana Industries, Loatsad, Kenol, Mantrac (Caterpillar), Omar Gardens and ASB Valiant. The first residential phase of 500 apartments is being developed by Universal Homes.
The Lekki Free Zone, established in 2006, is a modern free zone managed in accordance with international best practices. The zone’s 16,500 hectares are divided into four quadrants and managed by various operators, benefiting from Lagos State’s position as the premier distribution hub in West Africa.
Alaro City is authorised by both the Federal Government of Nigeria, through the Nigeria Export Processing Zones Authority, and the Lagos State Government to receive all Free Zone benefits.
Alaro City holds full land title with Certificate of Occupancy.
