Airtel Nigeria and iPhone have entered into a partnership in order to improve the quality of the network, products, services and infrastructure. This was revealed at the launch of the new iPhone by Natin Anand, Director of Products and Innovations, Airtel Nigeria, who promised that the partnership would ensure that the best products and services are provided in Nigeria and noted that the launch of the new iPhone was very important as it was brought into Nigeria in partnership with Airtel.
Anand explained, “We believe that the future of mobile network is important and during this time of change, I can boldly say that Airtel will be ahead and we are also the first network to bring I.D launch to Nigeria.”
David Moore, Country Manager, iStore revealed that this was the first time the iPhone has been launched in Nigeria and that it would be very affordable. He continued, “Our partners assure you that you have one year warranty, efficiency and attractive specialties on the phone. You can walk into any iPhone store or Airtel store and get a good unified product.”
He said that all applications on the iPhone will come from the iPhone store and that the partnership intends to launch a new app on the iPhone which will enable one to recharge, subscribe, check balances and obtain data bundles. He explained, “Considering the quality of the products, the price will measure up with the quality and we will give 2 percent discounts to students who have their ID cards
Both brands intend that their partnership will last for a long time, as they are going to work in Nigeria as a team. iPhone products are spread worldwide and this partnership will reveal itself fully in Lagos in the next four days.
