The competition seeks forecasts about how artificial intelligence will transform teaching methods, learning experiences, and higher education within the next three years.

Submission Requirements & Structure

  • Entry Components: Analytical essay (500-1,000 words) accompanied by a video or audio recording (2-5 minutes) supporting your forecast.
  • 5 Competition Categories:
    1. Teaching Profession
    2. Cognitive Development & Mathematics Education
    3. Student Motivation, Personalisation & Socialisation
    4. Higher Education Assessment & Academic Integrity
    5. AI Tutoring
  • Judging panel features specialists from Google DeepMind, OpenAI, Gates Foundation, Khan Academy, Stanford University, among others.

Award Structure

  • Combined prize fund: Up to $25,000 USD
  • Each category offers 10 awards (50 total):
    • Top Prize: $2,500
    • 4 Second-Place Awards: $500 each
    • 5 Recognition Awards: $100 each
