Nigeria’s female basketball team, D’Tigress had an easy 100-47 win against their Guinean counterparts on Sunday at the AfroBasket Women 2015 Championship in Yaounde, Cameroon. D’Tigress finished the game with six players, including Joyce Ekworomadu scoring 12 points or more. Nadia Peruch-Niang led Guinea with 17 points and 7 rebounds. D’Tigress’ Helen Ogunjimi was particularly impressive; making a game-high 19 points from beyond the arc after coming off the bench. With the win, D’Tigress has climbed to third place in Group B with a 2-1 mark.
