By Arinze Ude FegorOgude The Norway-based midfielder was born on 29th July 1987 in the country’s commercial city of Lagos. He started his career with Warri Wolves before travelling to Scandinavia to join Valerenga in 2010. He made his debut in African Nations Cup qualifying match against Madagascar. He was also named in the 2013 African Cup of Nations squad and established himself as the “destroyer” in Super Eagles midfield. The hard-tackling midfielder lost his place to Sunday Mba after he missed the win against Ivory Coast. He did not play in the final, but was on hand to receive his medal and celebrate the trophy with his teammates.
