After the tremendous success of the first debut movie “The Wedding Party”, which literally broke records last year, the sequel “The Wedding Party 2: Destination Dubai” premiered on Sunday, December 10, at Eko Hotel & Suites Victoria Island, Lagos.
The Wedding Party 2: Destination Dubai storyline follows the wedding of supporting characters from the first part of the movie, with their wedding, which takes place in Dubai, this explains why the theme for the premiere was dubbed Arabian Nights themed.
The highly anticipated movie premiere was sure star-studded, as the red carpet was graced with Nigeria’s most celebrated and influential personalities in entertainment, business and much more.
Celebrities last night stepped out donning their chic Arabian attires, fitting flawlessly with the Arabian Night theme. Spotted on the red carpet includes; Adesua Etomi Wellington, Banky W, Bolanle Olukanni, Enyinna Nwigwe, Rita Dominic, Mimi Onalaja, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Ireti Doyle, Beverly Naya, Ono Bello, Sola Sobowale, Tallulah Doherty, Shaffy Bello, AY, Mabel Makun, Tiwa Savage, amongst others.
According to Moses Babtope, COO, of FilmOne Distribution, the movie is going to be the biggest release of 2017, opening on multiple screens in every cinema in Nigeria.
