Our favorite urban highlife singer Adekulne Gold was featured in the third edition of TRACE LIVE which held at the Terra Kulture Arena in Lagos last Friday. The event tagged, “Trace Live Presents Adekunle Gold: About 30” which had the likes of Falz, TEC of Show Dem Camp, Dice Ailes, CDQ, Falana, Kaline, Ric Hassani, Pencil, Lamide Akintobi, Lala Akindoju, Tania Omotayo, Afua Osei, Bolanle Olukanni and MC Acapella in attendance, was powered by TRACE, Cabal Entertainment, and Bolanle Austen-Peters Production Adekunle and his band, the 79th Element, serenaded guests with hits like “Monkey”, teasing our senses with the musical ensemble of melodious music emanating from the live instruments, drums beats, and his raw vocals. He also rendered an emotional performance of his song “Ire” and was backed by a choir. The Ire song, a somber track, in which he tells the lessons he learned in life, is one of the songs in his sophomore album, ‘About 30’ to be released this month. The song is dedicated to his late sister. With previous performances from top Nigerian artistes like highlife singer, Flavour, and songbird Omawumi, Trace Live continues to celebrate rich music and culture by showcasing the beauty of music with live bands,  vivacious dancers, and a lively audience.
