Nollywood actress Mercy Aigbe has bought herself a brand new house. The award-winning actress, popular for her Yoruba language movies, announced this on picture sharing platform, Instagram.

The mother of two who turned 40 earlier this year said the new property was a fulfilment of a prayer her friend, Nigerian fashion designer Ceoluminee, made for her on her birthday in January. The friend who had gifted her a birthday cake designed like a one-storey duplex had told her that she will buy a house before the end of 2018.

She wrote:

“It’s the Lord’s doing and it’s beautiful in my sight! Few months after that cake gift, I bought a beautiful home for myself and my kids in a choice area in Lagos!!!!!!!!

Say hello to the new LANDLADY…..”

Mercy is an Edo State-born actress, movie director and businesswoman. She took up a career in the movie industry in 2001 and has since then won several awards including Best Actress in Yoruba awarded at the City People Awards held in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State; City People Entertainment Yoruba Movie Personality of the Year and Fashion Entrepreneur of The Year Awarded by Links and Glitz World Awards. She is the CEO of Mag Divas Boutique and brand ambassador for Shape You Slimming Coffee.

In 2016, Mercy earned a lot of applause, popularity, and large social media following for her uniquely styled dress to that year’s edition of the Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards. The dress was also made by Ceoluminee.

We all need a Ceoluminee in our lives, don’t you think?
