If you are facing opposition in your life, a problem at work, a financial concern, a difficult boss, a harsh critic, a wayward child, a stalled dream, I want you to take heart. That opposition is not the end of your story. As a matter of fact, it may be the very thing God will use to propel you to the next level. God is about to elevate you past every doubter and every evil. Let haters say what they want, don’t pay them any attention because the opposition you are facing is there for a reason. Your opposition is actually your opportunity! You may think that opposition was going to hold you back, but God can use it to lift you up. Your greatest moment may be hidden in the mess you’re up against. John 16:33 says “In the world, ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world” (emphasis added). That sounds funny to a lot of people. How am I supposed to be of good cheer when I’m going through a tribulation? I’ve found myself there before too. You may be going through a difficulty. You may be stressed out about a particular situation. You may be facing a trial at home or at work. But I want you to know God will always hide an opportunity in your opposition! So instead of focusing on the problem, worrying, being afraid, doubting yourself and doubting God, start looking for the potential God has placed before you. 1. Look for the new thing 2. Look for the new direction 3. Look for the new opportunity When David stood up under the ridicule of Goliath, he didn’t see opposition. Everyone else saw opposition, but not David, all he saw was opportunity! While the soldiers were cowering before the opposition, David was calculating the opportunity. David didn’t know it at the time, but this was the opportunity that would catapult him to the throne of Israel. In the same way, God wants to do something bigger in your life than you can imagine. If your opposition is great, be encouraged because that means you have a great opportunity! Lay hold of the opportunity and maximize it for God’s glory.   Have a great week!     About the Writer: Eniola Adeniji is a woman after God’s own heart, a motivational Writer, Speaker, Fashion and Photography addict.
