Dele Alli has been named the Young Player of the Year at the Football League End of Season Awards Gala.
The award ceremony is organized annually to recognize the outstanding efforts of players in all tiers of the Football League.
Alli, who moved to English Premier League side, Tottenham Hotspur in January but returned on loan to MK Dons, tops the club’s highest goal scorers chart with 16 goals.
He was also nominated for the Player of the Year award but lost out to Preston North End’s Joe Garner.
Former Nigerian defender, Danny Shittu of Millwall was also celebrated as the PFA Player in the community for the year for his charity efforts in his community.
The award is dedicated to players who are richly involved in charity in the communities their clubs are situated.
