Blessing Okagbare, Christy Udo, Others, Make Nigeria Commonwealth Team List

Track and field queen, Blessing Okagbare will lead Nigeria’s team at the forthcoming Commonwealth Games billed to hold in Glasgow, Scotland from July 23 to August 3.

The athletes’ list was released by the Athletic Federation of Nigeria, AFN, Technical/Commonwealth Games Selection Committee at a meeting held immediately after the AFN/CRS All-Nigeria Athletics Championships held in Calabar from 19-21 June.

However, some of the under-listed who are yet to hit the required standards in their events have been placed on probation and given a maximum of two weeks to meet the set standards or get dropped from the team.
