Poem of the Week: Borrowed Heaven

Photo: vi.isualize.us

My reflection appears broken in the mirror for so long

My soul left my body for a place so cold

Shattered promises, to be with you till am gray and old

Alone with a pen, a scroll and a slate

Never will you be back

Feelings of mine will always wait

In shreds I stumbled into reality

My Lord is it Karma or Redemption?

May be her story was never meant to be?

Words of mine I kept

In my heart, on a page, only a breath left

I write, now that you are gone

Illusions of progress, headed towards the sun

Slowly I walk away from myself

Visions of you, like a mirage

Your picture was never true

In pains, this is my day Seven

Staring at my past

Watching my Borrowed Heaven
