The central theme for this year’s edition is: “Being a Nigerian Youth” – challenging filmmakers to artistically portray the experiences, dreams, challenges, strengths, and victories of young Nigerians in contemporary society.
Competition Requirements
- Entrants must produce a short film not exceeding 3 minutes that powerfully conveys a story aligned with the competition theme.
- Submissions may take the form of narrative, documentary, or experimental cinema, provided they demonstrate originality, authenticity, and compelling storytelling.
- This competition serves as your opportunity to showcase your unique perspective on the Nigerian youth experience.
Prize Structure
Successful participants will be awarded substantial cash prizes to advance their creative careers:
- Winner: ₦1.5 million
- First Runner-Up: ₦750,000
- Second Runner-Up: ₦500,000

Who Can Participate?
- Nigerian youth aged 20 to 35 years are eligible to apply.
