The 2026 Mastercard Foundation AfOx Scholarship Program is currently accepting applications. This program represents a groundbreaking collaboration between Oxford University and the Mastercard Foundation, operating through the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program and the Africa Oxford Initiative (AfOx). Working alongside the Saïd Business School Foundation, this initiative offers up to five AfOx Graduate Scholarships for the 2026-27 MBA program.

These Mastercard Foundation AfOx Graduate Scholarships target candidates who hold African citizenship, maintain regular residence within African nations, and exhibit dedication to advancing Africa’s development.

Scholarship Coverage
The awards provide comprehensive financial support, including complete tuition coverage and living expense allowances, alongside specialised training programs, professional networking access, and ongoing student support throughout the pre-enrollment, enrollment, and post-graduation phases at Oxford.
Financial package includes:
- Complete tuition fee coverage.
- Living expense grant of a minimum of £20,780.

Application Process
Candidates do not need to complete a separate scholarship application. Instead, applicants must submit their MBA application by the specified deadline. Selected candidates will receive interview invitations directly from the University.
