This fellowship spans two years and operates on a non-residential basis, bringing together policy specialists, economists, academic researchers, and development practitioners. The FATE Institute Fellowship Program focuses on generating research-driven analysis and recommendations that support policy development to enhance Nigeria’s entrepreneurship landscape.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates should possess:
- Deep enthusiasm for entrepreneurship development and policy transformation.
- Educational background including current enrollment in or completion of doctoral or master’s studies in Economics, Entrepreneurship, Business Administration, Law, Political Science, or comparable fields.
- Proven track record in research activities, stakeholder collaboration, and policy advocacy.

Additional Requirements
Successful applicants will:
- Show dedication to bridging existing gaps within Nigeria’s entrepreneurship framework.
- Display proficiency in research methodology, analytical thinking, and policy documentation.
- Present evidence of collaboration with government entities or policy-making bodies.
- Hold academic credentials reflecting completed or ongoing doctoral or master’s level education.
- Bring at least a decade of professional experience in relevant areas.
Program Structure
The fellowship operates as a part-time, non-residential opportunity, enabling participants to continue their existing professional or academic commitments alongside program involvement. All components are delivered through virtual platforms, including educational sessions, mentoring relationships, policy dialogues, and collaborative projects, ensuring accessibility for participants regardless of their geographic location.
