The 2025 Qualcomm Make in Africa Startup Mentorship Program is an equity-free initiative designed to “identify promising early-stage startups keen on applying advanced connectivity and processing technologies to innovative end-to-end systems solutions, including hardware, and provide these companies with business coaching, access to engineering consultation for product development, and guidance on protecting intellectual property.”

Some of the features of the program include:
- Regular mentorship with Qualcomm leaders.
- Startups will be guided towards product realization.
- There will be masterclasses on product management, IPR, pitch clinics, and hardware architecture.
- The Make in Africa Startup Mentorship Program is a platform to gain visibility through demo days with the startup ecosystem.
- It is also a platform to connect with industry leaders, investors, venture capitalists, and other accelerators.

- Application Phase: December 5th, 2024, to February 16th, 2025
- Shortlist of the Startups: March 2025
- Mentorship Program: April 2025 to November 2025
- Program Finale and Demo Day: December 2025
