Words gentle, calm like a whisper in the wind

But cut so deep

Her presence so close, a slice of Utopia

But far from reach

Immaculate like an Angel, but still, a slash of scarlet in a field of snow

Her arms an Oasis, but her heart, bare like the Sahara

Her touch, filled with comfort

But her tongue moist with vanity

Skin, the colours of the night

Beneath her veil, clouds of uncertainty

The lines on her lips are scriptures of never ending verses

She walks like the wind

Eyes burn with passion like the ether

Dark days, bright nights she brings

Strips of a piano

Melodies with my heart she makes

The light on the gray side of me

The wolf and the lamb, a black and a white Swan

A beauty one can’t let go

I bleed, my tourniquet

She my thorns, yet my bed of roses.
