We often shy away from eating or using garlic because of its funny taste plus its lingering smell which can stay on a person for hours. But the health benefits of garlic as a herb and a natural health remedy that checks and treats various illnesses cannot be overemphasised so finding different ways of consuming garlic through home remedy solutions will be of great help to your health.
Garlic is widely recognized as a health-enhancing supplement. Apart from its ability to promote the well-being of the immune system with antioxidants, it is also a powerful antibiotic.
Here are some benefits:
1. Garlic can help cure high blood pressure and ease arthritic pain. For effectiveness, take 2 – 3 cloves of garlic on empty stomach in the morning. Douse the taste with a glass of milk.
2. For ear pain and infections, crush one clove of garlic in a tissue and insert it into the ear. If possible, you can leave it overnight or at least for 30 minutes.

A mixture that works effectively in the treatment of simple acne is to crush 2 – 3 garlic cloves and dilute with water. Dip a cotton bud or pad in the solution and rub it on the acne affected areas. Leave it there for five minutes before washing it off with cold water.

Apart from improving the texture of your hair and strengthening its roots, it also helps in treating your scalp for dandruff or if it is unhealthy in anyway. A very simple way to apply this amazing herb for the treatment of hair loss is to open a clove of garlic and rub on the hair loss area. Wait for an hour and massage that same area with olive oil. Put on a cap before going to bed. In the morning, shampoo your hair. Keep at it for a few weeks and see how your hair would stop falling out and regrow.
