The National Teachers Institute (NTI) has graduated 58,320 students who completed academic and professional programmes between 2005 and 2011. 13,382 got postgraduate diploma in Education, 44,060 got Nigeria Certificate in Education and 878 got Advanced Diploma in Education, according to figures released by the Chief Executive of the Institute, Dr. Aminu Ladan Sharehu.
He also said that, “There has also been an upward review – by 300% – of the allowances of course tutors and centre managers in the Institute’s programmes with effect from 1st January 2010 to boost their morale”
