1. GenVoices Gets Endorsement from the UN Generational Voices, the movement that was established to channel the energies of Nigerian youths towards nation-building, has received recognition from the United Nations. “I received with considerable excitement the news that a large group of young Nigerians under the movement called GenVoices have come together to inspire hope in the Nigerian dream and nurture a new breed of young leaders in Nigeria….I’d like to congratulate Generation Voices for organising this important event, as well as your ongoing efforts to promote youth political engagement in Nigeria,” said Ahmad Alhendawi, UN Sec-Gen Envoy on Youth. 2. Where Dreams Cross #18 at Lagos International Video Art Festival Tomorrow is Friday, but before then you’re wondering where to hangout later this evening to gradually slide into the #TGIF mood. WHO Gives Nigeria Clean Bill of Health; Country Guinea Worm Free The World Health Organisation has announced that Nigeria has 0 cases of Guinea Worm and that the country is completely free of the disease. The WHO awarded a certificate signifying Nigeria’s clean bill of health yesterday.
