Bad eating habits seriously eat away (pun intended) your health, making you fat and generally unhealthy. If you’re serious about healthy living, then you need to ditch these habits fast.
  •  Eating a heavy meal right before bedtime

If you eat a meal high in carbs before going to bed, chances are that your body will not burn them all for fuel adding unnecessary calories. Eating veggies and lean protein like chicken breast will make you feel fuller and are low in calories.
  •  Drinking alcohol without eating

When you consume beer and alcohol on an empty stomach, it goes straight into your bloodstream and gets stored as fat. Now you know why your tummy is getting bigger ;). Eat before you drink, the food in your stomach will keep the alcohol from being absorbed too quickly.
  •  Starving yourself

If your intention of starving yourself is to get rid of the excess fat, then you need to re-evaluate your diet, the body’s first reaction to starvation is weight gain through storing of fats. Your body gets upset when you don’t eat for long periods and stores up calories as fat when you finally eat because it doesn’t know when next you’ll eat. Rather than starve yourself, work out a diet plan and exercise more.
  •  Not drinking enough water

Water is necessary for the survival of humans. Not drinking adequate amounts of water slows down metabolism making weight gain a possibility. Drink 8-10 glasses a day, also drink water with your meals rather than carbonated drinks and juices.
  • Skipping breakfast

Breakfast is an important meal, the most important meal of the day, which is why it is necessary to eat a healthy breakfast as it provides a boost of energy and ensures you make healthy food choices throughout the day.
