Popular music carnival, Star Music Trek, yesterday, March 19, 2014 unveiled its star line up for this year’s concert at a press conference held at the Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Star Music Trek 2014 performers include 2face, Tiwa Savage, M.I, Olamide, Davido, Wizkid, Wande Coal, Sound Sultan, Pasuma, Mr Raw, Dr Sid, Naeto C, KCee, Sean Tizzle, Phyno and May D.
Hosts for the regional Trek are Gbenga Adeyinka, DO2TUN of Cool FM and Laff Up with DJ Neptune, DJ Switch, DJ Blaise as official DJs for The Trek.
“Our theme, “My City Rocks, is inspired by the uniqueness of the many cities in Nigeria. Young Nigerians have connected to these special traits in a unique way as only they can and have made this campaign all the more spectacularly engaging right from the very beginning,” Edem Vindah, Corporate Media and Brand PR Manager, said.
“We’re just as eager as our teeming fans as we commence Star Music Trek 2014. As usual, we’ll be taking the brightest and best of Nigerian music and artistes all across the country and can assure our fans that this year’s Trek will be filled with spectacular surprises he added.
The Trek 2014 will be tour Nigerian cities like, Nsukka, 29TH March, Makurdi, 5th April Uyo, 12th April, Umuahia 19th April, Orlu 26th April, Ekwulobia, 3rd May Onitsha, Fegge, 11th May, Benin17th, May, Ado Ekiti, 24th May, and Lagos May 31st.
Star Music Trek, which has been in existence since the early 90’s, has become the nations most anticipated music carnival with the country’s biggest artistes delivering spectacular performances to the delight of thousands of fans across the country.
