The Policy and Legal Advocacy Centre (PLAC) is currently accepting applications for its 2025 Internship Program. PLAC, with funding from the European Union (EU), offers a comprehensive 10-week full-time internship opportunity designed for young Nigerians seeking to understand legislative procedures and practices within the National Assembly.

PROGRAM PERIOD: September through December 2025
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a Nigerian national aged 21-35 years.
- Hold a minimum of a bachelor’s degree from any field of study from an accredited higher education institution.
• Must be an NYSC certificate holder (completed National Youth Service Corps Program). - Demonstrate proficiency in English communication (both written and verbal).
- Possesses solid computer literacy skills.
- Display strong people management and communication abilities.

Financial Support and Arrangements
- The Policy and Legal Advocacy Centre will provide allowances covering daily transportation and meal expenses within Abuja only. All other costs remain the responsibility of participants.
- Candidates should ensure they can either live in Abuja or fund their own accommodation throughout the internship period, as PLAC does not offer housing assistance or relocation funding.
Application Process:
- Access PLAC’s official internship application website.
- Fill out the online application and attach your resume in Microsoft Word format, using your full name as the filename. Your CV must clearly state your home state, birth date, and NYSC service location.
- Include a “Statement of Interest/Purpose” on the final page of your CV explaining why this internship is important to you. Keep your CV to a maximum of two pages, with the Statement of Purpose limited to 300 words. Submit everything as a single document.
- Fill out the required Pre-Screening Assessment Form.
- Important: You must copy your Statement of Purpose from your CV and paste it into the designated field on the online form.
