Musa is set to miss the clash owing to the fact that he has been without a club for a while but was brimming with confidence after the completion of the team’s second day in training on Thursday (March 25).
‘The training was good, thank God everyone is in the camp now, as you can see we have the 24 players and everyone participated in the training. The grass is good, I feel happy about it. We are going there to win, we know that since 2013 they have not lost at home. With the hard work that we put in yesterday and today, I know the boys can do it. The special thing is for we the players to win the game and I know by the grace of God we are going to do it.’ Ahmed Musa

Ahmed Musa is seven games shy of becoming the most capped player in the history of Nigerian football, and he is likely to achieve that feat once he gets another club. He has featured for European sides like Leicester City, CSKA Moscow, and VVV Venlo. Interestingly, the super eagles of Nigeria and all the staff of the team left the shores of the country en route to Port Novo by boat and will be hoping to get there on time, get settled, and prepare for the all-important clash against Benin Republic on tomorrow, Saturday.
