Nigeria beat Ghana with an aggregate 2-1 scoreline in a two-legged encounter to qualify for the final phase of qualifiers. Nigeria is pitched against Ivory Coast in the final round of qualifiers for the 12th edition of the continental showpiece which will also serve as the qualifiers for the Women’s World Cup. Head Coach Randy Waldrum will be without his captain Asisat Oshoala who has been ruled out due to an injury, but a perfect mix of 30 home and foreign-based stars led by central back Onome Ebi and the likes of Desire Oparanozie, and others will surely prepare Nigeria for the encounter against the Ivoirians scheduled to hold in February 2022.
