The Super Eagles of Nigeria fully commenced preparation on Monday, November 11, 2019, for their AFCON 2021 qualifying match against the Squirrels of Benin.
Team captain, Ahmed Musa, alongside with 13 other players arrived the Ibom Meridien Hotel and Resorts in Abak Town (camp of the national team) on Monday ahead of the game which is scheduled to hold at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium on Wednesday, November 13, 2019.

William Troost-Ekong and 8 other players are expected to hit camp on Tuesday morning (November 12). The team trained at their hotel base on Monday evening, but is expected to have a general group session at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium on Tuesday evening.
Nigeria is aiming to start qualifiers on a positive note with a victory on Wednesday, before flying to Maseru to confront Lesotho in what would be their second Group L game. The match is scheduled to kick off at 5pm on Wednesday.
