120 Nigerians have benefited from the Sir Emeka Offor Scholarship Scheme. A statement signed by C.N Ofondu, Education Secretary, Sir Emeka Offor Foundation, listed 10 postgraduate students, 40 undergraduates, 40 secondary school students and 30 primary school pupils as beneficiaries. The successful candidates are from various schools across the country.
The Sir. Emeka Offor Foundation is a philanthropic organisation based in Oraifite, Anambra State.
The foundation seeks to alleviate the sufferings of the less-privileged through philanthropy, and focuses primarily on giving support and hope to those in need – irrespective of tribe, creed, religion and nation.
The foundation has affected the lives of many Nigerians through its domestic programmes and projects, which include Youth Empowerment, Widows Cooperative, Education, and Health Services and Infrastructural Development.
