Broadcaster, Funmi Iyanda, will on January 1st 2015 hold a live valedictory show for the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babatunde Fashola in appreciation of the governor’s “consistent support for Change-A-Life over for the past eight years”.

The show will also see Dele Momodu, Publisher of Ovation International, as co-host, and  Funmi Iyanda, Founder of Change-A-Life, as host.

“This year, the foundation will also recognize and acknowledge organizations and individuals for their contributions towards making a change in society in various areas of focus for the show. Various stakeholders and organizations will discuss prominent and life-changing issues that occupied Nigeria and Nigerians in 2014” a press statement issued by the Foundation said.

The Foundation will also launch its social community – The CAL Community – which is targeted at providing a platform for sharing ideas about changing lives in the society.

“The CAL Community is part of a new direction for the Foundation going forward in the New Year. The Annual Remi Lagos Awards of Excellence will also be presented to the most outstanding educational scholarship beneficiaries of the foundation.”

The Change-A-Life TV show will air live on NTA network on Thursday January 1, from 9.00 -10.00 a.m.

Change-A-Life Foundation (CAL), a social service non-profit organization with the mission to act as a bridge between people with human, community and leadership potential yet great need and the individuals, agencies and organizations with the capacity and willingness to meet these people’s needs.

The foundation has declared that over the past 13 years of its existence, it has impacted “over 5,000 lives directly from all walks of life and over 50,000 indirectly through its programmes with a mission to do more.”

The 2015 show is powered by Etisalat, and supported by Flourmills Nigeria Limited and Tastee Fried Chicken
