Transition to Homemade Deodorants

Transition to Homemade Deodorants
I know what you’re thinking, homemade deodorants? That’s just crazy and weird, how will it smell? Hehe I understand that most people will be very sceptical about natural deodorants, but they are just as effective as store-bought deodorants and even better it detoxes the body naturally and doesn’t clog your sweat pores as most deodorants and antiperspirants. These deodorants and antiperspirants that we slather under our arms have very questionable ingredients such as Aluminium; a primary ingredient in most deodorants, it has been linked to the breast in women and also neurological disorders such as Alzheimer disease. Aluminum salts prevent us from sweating by squeezing the ducts close, which is not entirely right because we need to sweat! Sweating enables us to maintain normal body temperature and keeps us from overheating. There are other carcinogens carrying ingredients (ingredients that cause cancer) used in producing these deodorants and antiperspirants such as Talc powder, BHT (butylated hydroxytoluene) fragrance. Another plus is that making your deodorant is nowhere near strenuous and does not involve the use of chemicals and also the materials are very accessible.
