Speaking at the event, the founder Miss Chioma Nwigwe affirmed that-
“…no girl should experience the indignity that comes from period poverty or miss out on an education because she cannot afford the resources required to safely manage her periods. Of the 18.5 million out-of-school kids in Nigeria, 60% are girls and there is anecdotal evidence showing a correlation between these numbers and the incidence of period poverty.”
“in Nigeria today, over 37 million girls struggle with the inability to access hygienic menstrual products, education, waste management facilities or a combination of these. These are necessities, not luxury items and I am committed to consistently using my platform to create awareness about these issues starting from my hometown- Garko LGA.”

Speaking on the partnership, Stella Ndikele, the founder of Nuban Beauty maintained
