House On The Rock Announces First Mobile Clinic Acquisition

Access to quality and affordable healthcare is critical to our development and progress as a nation. However, for so many years, we have been beset by series of challenges that have left our health sector bereft of essential infrastructure and adequate capital planning and spending. The net result of this is the gross imbalance between the number of health facilities in operation and our population index.
Knowing that an issue as great as this demands our collective action, Paul Adefarasin, last week, announced that the church has decided to take its volunteer work to a new level with its newest acquisition of a mobile clinic in Lagos.
The Clinic
The Clinic, which is expected to benefit all local government areas in Lagos state, is fully fitted with a sphygmomanometer and diagnostic set, an oxygen system, a defibrillator, a solar inverter, consultation rooms and other essential emergency response equipment.
After its rounds, the clinic will report to the Medi-Clinic facility, a fully functional on-site health care centre at The Rock Cathedral in Lagos, which will serve as an administrative centre for the mobile clinic delivery system.
Dr. Alero Roberts, Medical Director at House On The Rock, said the clinic was designed to bridge the gap between the needy and essential medical facilities.
“We will be providing this universal access to care independent to your financial situation, race creed, color, whatever. It is equitable and equal across the state.”
