First Bank Academy Graduates 87 Students

First Academy Foundation, a tier one training school of First Bank, has graduated 87 students after a 16-week long programme.  The strategic business training, unveiled in February 2012, exposes students to top quality banking practices and sets of procedures for the financial sector. “We usher our distinguished graduands into the First Bank family after completing a series of rigorous and in-depth learning sessions designed to enable them successfully progress through their careers in the bank,” Bisi Onasanya, the Managaing Director of the Bank said, during the ceremony for the new graduates. He continued, “As you become integrated into the First Bank family, it will particularly interest you to know that you belong to an institution with exceptional pedigree, as the bank was also voted best indigenous organisation to work for in Nigeria and best bank to work for in Nigeria at the ‘Great Place to Work’ awards 2011.” The goal of the academy, according to a previous statement by Mr. Onasanya is, “to continually invest in our people, in order to uphold superior performance, sustain shareholder value and assure our bank’s future successes in a sustainable manner.”
