COVID-19: Nigeria Hits Lowest Number Of Cases In Five Months

  As COVID-19 vaccination continues in Nigeria, the country on Monday, March 29, 2021, hit the lowest number of cases in five months. Information obtained from the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) showed that Nigeria recorded 48 new confirmed positive cases of the virus.

Further, the number of active cases which currently stands at 10, 126, means Nigeria has recorded the lowest number of cases in over three months, a huge indicator of rapid flattening of the curve in the country. It will be recalled that the last time Nigeria saw the number of active cases drop to the lowest was on October 24, 2020, when the number of new cases stood at 40 without any COVID-19-related death.
