Either by listening to the news on the TV, radio or social media, avoiding bad news can really sustain your positive spirit. This also means avoiding gossips from relations, coworkers, classmates and so on, whose stock-in-trade is to spread rumours about people. The consequence of gossip is that it can lead to toxicity in the family, classroom, and workplace. Also, beware of people who spread fear and hopelessness around. Avoid people whose conversations are all about the worst state of the economy, gun shootings, news of deaths and destruction.
