Nike

Nike is one of the leading sports wears company and is highly known among sports lovers for their innovative and strategic approach to their products and branding.   The company’s vision statement is to “bring inspiration and innovation to every athlete* in the world. *If you have a body, you are an athlete.”

Tesla 

Led and driven by the sheer doggedness of its founder, Elon Musk, Tesla’s vision statement shows that the electric car manufacturing company seeks “to accelerate the world’s transition to sustainable energy.”

Nestle

The food manufacturing company, Nestle, as conveyed through its vision statements seeks “to bring consumers safe, high-quality foods that provide optimal nutrition.”

First Bank

The bank which is one of the oldest banks in Nigeria has grown from what it was in 1894 when it was newly founded as Bank of British West Africa, to become one of the choicest banks in Nigeria. Its vision statement summarizes this growth as it seeks “to be the clear leader and Nigeria’s bank of first choice.”

Dangote Group

The Dangote Group has grown to become one of the leading producers of consumer products in Africa and this could be said to be based on its vision “to become the leading provider of essential needs in food and shelter in Sub-Saharan Africa.” From the above, you will understand that what makes a vision statement isn’t how many words are woven into it but how much meaning and inspiration that can be deduced from it.
