While reading the Holy Bible I uncovered a principle I wish to share. I will call it, ‘The Blood Concept.’ Blood is a spiritual material used as a means of exchange in the spirit realm. It is in the spirit, what money is in the physical world. The herbalists use it to appease their gods and make demands in return. In the Old Testament, sacrifices were offered to God and in return He released fortune to those who deserved blessing by the weight and purity of their sacrifices.
The blood speaks. It is written in the scriptures that the
‘Blood of Jesus speaks better things…’ The blood of Abel cried to God when he was slain by his brother Cain. When God was to slay the Egyptians he told the Israelites to splash the blood of the lamb on their door post so that when the spirit of death moved that night He will see the blood and pass over. In other words, He will use the blood in exchange of their safety.
When David would have a house built for God he was stopped on account of too much innocent blood he had shed.
It is therefore trite to say here that the political leaders in Nigeria who sponsored insurgency to spill the blood of thousand innocent Nigerians have broken not only the law but fundamental spiritual principles. Now, their blood cries to the high heavens for justice. Their blood speaks! As their love ones wail and mourn, the blood of the innocent cries for vengeance. I still ask what will happen to the families they left behind. The innocent children and women. For this, these leaders and their allies must pay for their sins.
The Chibok girls are still in captivity, some are probably dead. What will happen to the ones left? Most of them have lost their parents to shock and trauma. Under the watch of a weak government these little girls were taken away in their prime and subjected to diverse dehumanising conditions. We must all march out to correct injustice and create a new social order, a new narrative, because the blood of the dead under our watch cries to God for justice.
