We’re Delighted Odion Is Staying With Us: Solskjaer

  Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has expressed his belief in Odion Ighalo with high hopes that the on-loan Shanghai Shenhua striker will continue with his impressive form for the English Premier League giants as they restart their quest for a Champions League ticket. The Nigerian striker who turned 31 on Wednesday, June 17, 2020, has proved to be a vital inclusion to the Red Devils squad, scoring four times in eight appearances since his summer transfer deadline day switch from China.

  Ighalo whose loan deal was extended after the Chinese and English clubs reached an agreement, last month (May 2020), is set to stay in England until January 2021 and continue his adventure with his boyhood dream club. The Manchester United Manager expressed delight at securing the services of the former Watford striker and hopes he will continue with his impressive showing that pushed the English outfits into bargaining with their Chinese counterparts.

  We’re delighted Odion is staying with us. We had a good conversation with his club and Odion’s made a great impact when he came, so that’s very pleasing. He gives us another option upfront, he is a goalscorer and what he does in and around the dressing room as well is great. I hope he’s going to continue and finish off what he has started Ole Gunner Solksjaer
