Have you ever gotten frustrated trying to keep track of where all your money is going? I have and I am sure there are so many people like me. Sometimes, we have the warped idea that rich people just spend and do not keep track of money. People who have been rich for a very long time know they must be accountable. If you do not believe me, you can check out Nimi Akinkugbe’s website. She has had a lot of experience managing portfolios and she now advises people on financial matters.
I first heard about Nimi through Genevieve Magazine. She used to write their financial column. I didn’t pay it much attention then because I was focusing on other areas of my life at the time. So when I saw her blog, I was excited because money matters!
The first quote that captured my eyes said, “When you empower a woman with information and education, you empower families and generations and can change the world. Women bring something critical to the economy, civil society and politics.”
I don’t know the author and maybe it is anonymous, but it is very true.
It is a very captivating website. It is well designed, with fluid lines and a purple theme. As I read through, I discovered that it is not just educative; it is practical. She has tools to help you manage your personal finances such as savings calculator, debt quiz calculator, mortgage calculator and loads more. She has everything for whatever stage you might be in financially. If you are paying off a car or house loan, her plans can help you manage your resources efficiently. If you want to plan a college fund for the kids, there are tools that can also help you.
