Things are finally looking up for ex-Super Eagles international, Victor Moses, who has been facing serious club issues since Maurizio Sarri’s arrival at Stamford Bridge.
Moses has completed a medical at Fenerbahce, with an imminent loan move to the Turkish football club.
The Nigerian has featured only six times for The Blues this season and has had only 26 minutes of playtime in the Premier League. His only shot at returning to regular football is a move away from Sarri’s perfect squad, where according to the Chelsea manager, Moses has no place in.
Under former Chelsea gaffer, Antonio Conte, Moses was a regular wingback and a critical part of Chelsea’s A-team, where he helped the English outfit claim the 2017/2018 Emirates Cup.
Sarri’s arrival and the ensuing tactical switch from back three to back four formation placed Moses in an impossible situation as an unversed back four in the current 4-3-3 lineup. Sarri quickly relegated Moses to the bench and sought a better replacement, leaving the Nigerian out of his first team.
If Moses completes a move to the Turkish side, he will have to defend his place on the team, seeing as Fenerbahce are currently just within an inch of the Super Lig relegation zone, after winning only three of their matches this season.
