V8 Africa, a New Co-working Space Is Opening In Lagos

Whether it’s a flash of inspiration or a long, labored process, the birthing of a bright, potentially rewarding idea is an experience that aspiring entrepreneurs savour. But finding an ‘incubation box’ to let the egg of ideas hatch is a completely different challenge. Sometimes, available workspaces are beyond the reach of the startup’s lean wallet, or may not provide an environment convenient enough to see the dreams of startups come to life. V8 Africa, a new co-working space and accelerator hub, wants to change this.

V8 Africa will be opening in Lagos this week, offering workspaces which possess “the best elements of a corporate office and the vibe of a coffee shop”, an environment in which ideas can be transformed into thriving businesses. The essentials of a proper workspace are available- high-grade internet and Wi-Fi, uninterrupted power, private offices, a dedicated front desk, presentation equipment and space for small speaking events.

Also in the mix is an accelerator program, which could set enterprises on the path to greater things in the near future. Exceptional startups could get access to a global network of people who will help grow them through their strong investment capabilities. Besides this international exposure, there’s always the chance to build networks locally too- within V8 Africa’s walls -by connecting with coworkers who have similar interests.

V8 Africa opens its doors on Wednesday, November 16, 2016.
