US Partners Nigeria’s Youths In Nembe On Film Production

The rebasing of the Nigerian economy has shown that the Nigerian movie industry’s contribution to the economy is on the rise. The United States and the Nembe Kingdom of Bayelsa State are now in a partnership to help reduce violence in the Niger Delta by engaging the youths in film production.
James Entwistle, US Ambassador to Nigeria led the American delegation that was received by the community heads. He says that the United States government was ready to work with the people of the area to promote peace in the region through some filmmakers who will engage the youth in the art.
