The OPEN Energy Fund is an initiative of the CSI Energy Group. It invests up to $100,000 in women-led businesses across Africa’s energy value chain and provides them with expertise to support their growth and capacity development. It specifically targets businesses with an annual turnover exceeding $25,000 and employs at least 3 persons.

Businesses selected for this initiative will benefit from it in the following ways:- Receive equity investment worth up to $100,000
- Be supported by the expertise available from the OPEN Energy Fund
- Access to a network of similar businesses and potential partners from across the continent

Eligibility
This opportunity is open to businesses that meet the following conditions- Must be generating revenues consistently all through the year from an established customer base
- Must be generating revenues of at least $25,000 per annum and employ at least 3 persons
- Should be a registered company with proper records of accounts and licenses
- Should have a positive impact on the environment and the community in which it operates
- Must have significant women representation across its leadership positions
