Are you passionate about promoting good governance in Nigeria and across Africa? Would you like to have the opportunity of working as a top level executive at a multilateral institution?
The Mo Ibrahim Foundation is calling for applications to its upcoming leadership fellowship on good governance to accelerate its progress in Africa. Selected fellows will be trained in the science and art of effective African leadership with hands-on learning experience as a top level executive in any of the three multilateral institution: The African Development Bank (AfDB), The International Trade Centre (ITC) and The United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA). During the 12-month programme, they will contribute to the institution’s efforts to improve the economic and social prospects of Africa.
The programme also aims to provide criteria through which citizens and governments can measure progress, stimulate debate on good governance and support aspiring leaders for the continent at large.
Eligibility Criteria
1. Applicant must be a national of an African country residing anywhere in the world
2. Applicant must have 7-10 years of relevant work experience
3. Applicant must hold a Master’s Degree
4. Age bar for applicant is under the age of 40 or 45 for women with children
5. Applicant can be a young professional, mid-career or a new executive
