Nigerian Novelist and Poet, Professor Chinua Achebe is dead. He died last night in the United States, at a hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. He was a Professor of African Studies at Brown University, and was 82. He has reportedly been ill for some weeks now, with talk of deterioration of his health.
